In formal English, especially in writing, we sometimes change the normal order to make the sentence more emphatic. This structure is common with negative adverbial expressions such as not only, not until, never, no sooner.
There are three ways of showing possession in English:
- The apostrophe
- Must + inf: We use must + inf to say that we are almost sure something is true about the present.
Adverbs can describe an action or modify adjectives or other adverbs. They can be one word or a phrase.
Obligation and necessity
- We use have to to talk about all kinds of obligation. It can be used in all tenses
